Why we chose Lucky Sardine
It began with a request for pins and patches in our shop. I found Lucky Sardine by searching for another female artist creating fun hippie graphics, and after seeing how much people leaved Jo's designs, I started carrying her cards and stickers too. My art has always been about spreading joy with cute and colorful characters, and I love that Jo's style draws on similar sources of inspiration.

Q&A with Joanna
When did you start your business?
Lucky Sardine was founded in 2018. I originally started designing greeting cards for fun and things took off from there!
Is it a full time project? If not, what else do you do? If yes, what did you do before?
Growing my business was definitely a full-time project at first. I am also a full-time mother of 3, which keeps things a balancing act!
Did you have any strong creative influences early in life? Was there anyone that encouraged you to pursue a creative career?
I have always had an artistic mind. Since childhood, I have been drawn to the 70’s and 80’s vintage vibe, which definitely had a big influence on me and my style.
What is your favorite part of being a creative entrepreneur?
One of the biggest compliments for me is knowing my art resonated with someone and made them smile. I love it!
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy the sunshine, traveling, and disc golfing with my husband.
